The MAC cleanse oil comes in a plain transparent bottle with a pump dispenser which is very practical packaging if you ask me. One can keep a check on how much product is left and it keeps the remaining product hygienic as it has a pump to dispense the product. The pump also has a lock on it so one can carry it around without the fear of the oil leaking in your bag. Also it comes in a miniature version of 30ml which is travel friendly.

This cleansing oil smells like – Nothing!
There is no added fragrance to the product and it is devoid of any smell at all.

Firstly this product is absolutely magical. Anyone who has tried this cleansing oil will surely agree with how promising it is when it comes to removing makeup- of every kind! The texture of the oil is really lightweight and doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. The oil is transparent and glides on really easy. On regular days all you need is just a pump of this product and for a face full of heavy makeup two pumps is suffice. The oil spreads rather easily and feels extremely soft while massaging on to the skin.

The best part about this cleansing oil is it removes the stubborn stains of your kohl and liner with great ease. You will hardly feel you are pulling away at your skin while removing makeup with this cleansing oil.

The trick is to massage your face and then emulsify the oil with a little bit of water to completely breakdown and dissolve the makeup. All it takes is just one swipe and it all comes off as if the makeup was never there. Unlike a lot of other cleansing oils in the market, this one emulsifies with water to form a soapy texture and that’s when it leaves
behind no residue at all. It is a great oil for people who have oily skin as it does not feel heavy or clog pores. MAC even claims the oil to be non acnegenic so a clear winner for acne prone skin too. The oil has a great texture which cleanses effectively yet does not dry out my skin.

• Super Lightweight
• Glides easy
• A little product is needed
• One doesn’t need to tug at the skin for removing makeup
• Takes off even stubborn makeup stains
• No added fragrance

• Doesn’t strip the skin of moisture
• Forms an excellent emulsion with water
• Leaves no residue

• Expensive
• There are other affordable makeup removers that cost 1/4th of MAC

Even though the MAC cleanse oil has a steep price tag, it is worth every bit of money. The quantity required to work on makeup is really less and yet the results are splendid. The performance of the product speaks for its price. One can always opt for the MAC Mini to try the product out before splurging on the 150 ml bottle which is a bigger version of the product. All in all this is a complete 5 star product, one that you would not regret buying.
